Picture book guides: questions to ask and activities to try
666 picture books, each with questions to ask after reading and two 5-minute activities. Find the book for what your child is going through, then make the most of it together.
Read the book once just for enjoyment. Next time, pause and try two or three of the questions. There are no right answers, and “I don’t know” is fine. The activities take five minutes and work best at a calm moment, not straight after a tricky one.
