How we choose what to recommend, and how the Amazon links on this site work.

Growing Wise is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and the Amazon.ca Associates Program, affiliate advertising programmes designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com and Amazon.ca. Visitors in the United States and Canada are sent to their own Amazon store. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

When you follow a "Check on Amazon" or similar link from Growing Wise and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission. This comes at no extra cost to you: the price you pay is the same either way.

We only recommend books, workbooks and games that we'd genuinely hand to a family dealing with the situation the article is about. Recommendations follow the practical, everyday advice on each page; they are never the reason the page exists.

One exception: Little Decision Makers is a workbook we made ourselves. It's labelled "From Growing Wise" rather than "Growing Wise pick" wherever it appears, because it isn't an independent recommendation: it's our own product, sold through the same Amazon affiliate link as everything else.
