How to use it

Take turns choosing on each page, and ask why. It's brilliant for children who are quiet, as they can point and talk about their choice.

What it helps with

Comprehension and discussion questions

Pick two or three, not all of them. “I don’t know” is a fine answer, and you can always come back to it another day.

  1. “Where would you live?”
  2. “What would you wear?”
  3. “Who would be your friends?”
  4. “What would you eat?”
  5. “Why did you choose that?”
  6. “What did I choose?”

5-minute activities to try together

Choose and tell

Choose one thing per page, then tell a story using all your choices.

Family choices

Let everyone choose, then compare: were any the same?
