How to use it

Ask how the creatures helped Superworm when he needed them. It's a good way to talk about teamwork, and about friendship going both ways.

What it helps with

Comprehension and discussion questions

Pick two or three, not all of them. “I don’t know” is a fine answer, and you can always come back to it another day.

  1. “How did the other creatures help Superworm?”
  2. “What kind things did Superworm do for others?”
  3. “How did the creatures work as a team?”
  4. “Who helps you, and who do you help?”
  5. “What could you do if a friend needed help?”
  6. “What's your superpower for helping?”

5-minute activities to try together

Who helped you today?

Ask who helped your child today, and how they could help someone tomorrow.
