Find a book for what you're dealing with today

Start with the problem your family is actually dealing with. Each book or game exists to support a real conversation, not to fix your child.

Useful tools

These are practical products some families find useful. We explain what each type may help with before showing it.

Feelings cards

A simple deck can give families a quick way to name an emotion without needing the exact words on the spot. Pick a card and ask: "When have you felt like this?"

Visual timers

Some children find it easier when an abstract amount of time is made visible. "When the timer finishes, we'll get our shoes." See our visual supports article.

Visual schedules

Some children benefit from referring back to a simple visual sequence, rather than relying only on repeated verbal reminders: now, next, then.

Ear defenders

Some children find reduced noise helpful in particularly loud environments, such as fireworks or a busy classroom event. See our sensory overwhelm article.

Cooperative games

Games where everyone works toward the same outcome, useful for children who find direct competition very hard. See our cooperative games list.
